Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store processes, drive sales, and manage a team of roughly ten department managers and receivers, ensuring safety, labeling, and superior customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role also oversees the store in the absence of the Store Manager, coaches leaders, and handles inventory and P&L to meet targets while maintaining compliance with company standards and policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a related degree is preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Proven success leading both perishable and non-perishable departments, with P&L, safety, staffing, and promotions.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal; detail-oriented and solution-focused.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic HR software; able to manage schedules.
• Food safety certification required.
• Able to lift 60 pounds and handle the physical demands of store work.
