Job summary

Carter's, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Snellville, GA to lead a welcoming team and guide customers through our baby and children's apparel collections.

You’ll model exceptional service, drive sales, and ensure store standards align with our brand values. You’ll recruit and develop staff, manage scheduling, coach for omnichannel excellence, and partner with the Store Manager to optimize merchandising, KPIs, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Web navigation.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to focus on the customer on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers and advise on product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment for staff and customers.
• Coach others to meet service standards and omnichannel expectations.
• Assist the Store Manager with recruiting, training, and development.
• Analyze business metrics and drive KPIs with the team.
• Plan merchandising standards and promotional planning.
• Reduce loss through strong service and operational controls.
