Job summary

Casey’s is seeking a Store Manager to lead a team, drive sales, and uphold quality and service standards in the store. You will hire, train, and mentor teammates, coach to Casey’s CARES values, and manage labor and scheduling for peak times.

You will also oversee kitchen operations, perform audits and counts, and partner with leadership to create action plans based on KPIs and P&L. This role requires adaptability and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Clear communication skills with guests and teammates.
• Willingness to work varied hours including evenings, weekends and some holidays.
• Background check may be required by state licensing and law.

Responsibilities

• Execute Casey's strategic initiatives, drive sales, and maintain quality and service standards within your store.
• Ensure the store is stocked and clean to build strong relationships with guests and communities.
• Hire, train, develop, and supervise new Team Members in the Casey's Way; coach them to grow.
• Model and coach Casey’s CARES values (Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, Service).
• Manage labor budget and staffing for regular hours and special events; keep scheduling updated and communicated.
• Oversee kitchen operations to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Oversee daily bookwork, store walks, task lists, counts, audits and merchandise orders; manage inventory and DSD; protect assets.
• Partner with District Manager to develop Store Action Plans in response to KPIs and P&L.
• Attend trainings and assessments including ServSafe Food Protection Manager.
