Job summary

Soma Deer Park is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will help build a community-focused environment, coach staff, and drive store performance with a hands-on approach on the sales floor and across omni-channel initiatives.

You will foster a welcoming, high-energy store culture, ensure brand standards, maintain visual merchandising, manage inventory, and participate in local philanthropy.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability—nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve store financial goals and motivate the team.
• Assist in hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store reflecting brand standards.
• Oversee safe and efficient store operations including inventory management and daily replenishment.
• Execute inventories and support community connections through in-store events and philanthropy.
