Job summary

Soma is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 5266-Clay Terrace-Soma-Carmel to lead the team and deliver a guest-focused experience. You will coach associates, drive sales, and ensure brand standards across merchandising and operations.

In this role you will build community connections, manage inventory, and support daily replenishment while partnering with the Store Manager to meet store goals and foster a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve the financial goals of the store and motivate the team.
• Assist in the hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment reflecting brand standards.
• Ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management and inventories.
• Build community connections through in-store events and philanthropy.
