Soma in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 5080-South Park Mall-Soma-Charlotte. This role supports the Store Manager to lead the team, drive a memorable customer experience, and uphold Soma’s hospitality-driven culture.

You will manage operations, inventory, and associates while building community connections and ensuring the store meets financial goals. This is a full-time position in a fashion-forward environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of retail management experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve the financial goals of the store and motivate the team.
• Assist in the hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment, and inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.
