Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leadership, supervise the team, and model exceptional hospitality. You will guide storefront operations, coach staff, and drive omni-channel selling to create memorable customer experiences that reflect our brand culture.

With 2+ years in retail leadership and strong communication, you’ll support scheduling, cash handling, inventory, and training while maintaining a welcoming, customer-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail management experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
