Job summary

Soma, a brand under KnitWell Group, is seeking an Assistant Manager in Tampa to support the Store Manager in delivering a welcoming, customer‑centered experience. This role helps foster an engaging environment that reflects our culture of hospitality.

You will lead a team, drive sales to meet store goals, participate in hiring and coaching, and ensure smooth operations including inventory and community events across our Soma location in Tampa.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to bend, reach, stretch and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading the team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve store financial goals and motivate the team.
• Assist in hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment reflecting brand standards.
• Oversee inventory management, replenishment, and inventories.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Build community connections through in-store events and partnerships.
