Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, including scheduling, customer service, merchandising, inventory, and safety. You will lead and develop store employees and drive strategies to grow market share among commercial and retail customers.

This role is typically 48 hours per week, with potential evenings or weekends. Benefits include health coverage, time away from work, and a bonus program based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must have at least a High School diploma or GED
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must have at least 1 year of leadership experience
• Must have at least 1 year of retail/sales/customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategies to increase sales and profitability
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to store employees
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Build knowledge of products to recommend solutions
• Build relationships with wholesale and retail customers
• Complete store administration
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies
• Maintain store condition and visual merchandising, including displays
• Provide accurate and timely reporting
• Manage employee training, development, performance, and corrective action
• Respond to and resolve customer and/or employee complaints
• Partner with Sales Reps for outside sales to increase market share
