Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an accelerated, entry-level path designed to prepare you for a Store Management role in 18-24 months. The program promotes from within, with potential transition to Assistant Store Manager after the initial 8-week training.

You will work about 44 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, supporting a million-dollar store while developing leadership, sales, and operations skills for a long-term career with Sherwin-Williams.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have at least a bachelor’s degree by start of program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete training consistent with the established program.
• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build knowledge of all products to provide effective recommendations.
• Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration and maintain merchandising standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and promotional displays.
• Support employee training and performance management.
• Respond to customer and employee complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager to expand outside sales and market share.
