Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an accelerated, entry-level position designed to prepare you for a Store Management role in 18-24 months. You will progress into an Assistant Store Manager upon successful completion of the initial training, with a typical 44-hour work week that may include evenings/weekends.

You will gain leadership and sales experience while learning operations, finance, and strategy for managing a million-dollar store, serving large commercial

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Must have at least a bachelor's degree by start of the program.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete training consistent with the established program.
• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build knowledge of all products to provide effective customer recommendations.
• Develop positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration tasks.
• Ensure compliance with policies including safety, loss prevention, and security.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
• Respond to and resolve customer and/or employee complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share.
