Job summary

The Ace Store Director at Niemann Foods leads a hardware-focused retail store, driving sales, profitability and customer satisfaction. This role develops Associates at all levels, manages budgets and ensures adherence to inventory and policy standards.

Responsibilities include hiring and training staff, administering payroll, controlling shrink, and directing shipping/receiving to optimize stock and presentation. Must model safety and compliance while representing Niemann Foods in the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Vast product knowledge of hardware-related products.
• Minimum of 2 years retail management experience.
• Knowledge of retail computer systems, Word and Excel a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drives store sales by acknowledging customers, meeting project needs and resolving concerns quickly.
• Hires, trains and develops retail staff with goals for growth and success; provides feedback and recognition.
• Performs bookkeeping and payroll functions.
• Controls shrink, expenses and labor.
• Coordinates supervision of staff to meet sales goals and follow procedures.
• Regulates inventory to reduce shrinkage and maintain stock levels.
• Directs shipping, receiving and inventory flow for the store.
• Forecasts scheduling needs and creates work schedules.
• Delegates workload to meet merchandising and visual standards.
• Reports competitive activity and provides recommendations.
• Ensures compliance with all laws, policies and procedures.
• Follows ACE programs/promotions.
• Acts as Niemann Foods representative in store and community.
• Enforces safety policies and serves as safety role model.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
