Niemann Foods Ace Store Director in Minnesota leads a hardware store with a focus on superior customer service and profitability. You will hire, train, and develop Associates, manage payroll and expenses, and ensure policy, inventory, and merchandising compliance.

You will supervise staff, control shrink, coordinate shipping/receiving, and schedule staffing to meet demand while maintaining safety and compliance. A GED or high school diploma and 2+ years retail management are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Possess vast product knowledge of hardware related products.
• Minimum of 2 years retail management experience.
• Knowledge of retail computer systems, Word and Excel a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drives store sales by ensuring that all customers are acknowledged, projects needs are met, and concerns are resolved quickly.
• Hires, trains and develops retail staff with goals for growth and success in their positions, provides performance feedback and recognizes accomplishments.
• Performs bookkeeping and payroll functions.
• Controls shrink, expenses and labor.
• Coordinates supervision of retail staff to meet sales goals and follow procedures.
• Regulates inventory to reduce shrinkage, maintain stock levels and report accuracy.
• Directs shipping, receiving and inventory flow for the store.
• Forecasts scheduling needs and creates work schedules.
• Delegates workload to meet merchandising and visual standards.
