Job Summary

The Store Leader is responsible for the daily operations of their assigned store and managing employees. Duties include interviewing, selecting, and training staff; setting and adjusting employee pay and hours; directing employee work; appraising productivity for promotions or changes; disciplining staff; planning work; and determining materials and supplies needed for retail and food locations.

Job Description

  • Experience Required: 3 to 5 years
  • Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
  • Age Requirement: At least 21 years of age

Job Responsibilities

  • Main Duties:
  • Interview, select, and train team members
  • Direct and supervise team members' work
  • Appraise productivity and recommend promotions or changes
  • Handle employee issues, including complaints
  • Discipline staff as needed
  • Plan and assign work tasks
  • Ensure safety and security of staff and store
  • Manage departmental or store budget and inventory
  • Monitor compliance measures

Additional responsibilities include managing daily store operations, overseeing Food Service Leaders, providing excellent customer service, handling customer inquiries and complaints, completing daily reports, maintaining inventory accuracy, managing payroll and hours, handling banking and cash operations, ordering supplies, building vendor relationships, hiring and training staff, scheduling, supervising employees, ensuring policy compliance, merchandising, executing promotions, managing labor budgets, and maintaining fuel pricing standards.
