Kroger Co. is seeking an experienced store operations leader who will assist the Store Manager in achieving exemplary customer service, merchandising execution, and financial performance across the department. You will coach teams, manage budgets, and drive initiatives to maximize sales and store profitability.

The role emphasizes leadership development, collaboration with department heads, and adherence to company values while maintaining operational excellence and strong community relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience as department manager, service manager, or in an equivalent role.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing associates to achieve customer service and business goals in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience using KPIs, metrics, and data insights to identify opportunities and support business decisions.
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence others to drive store performance.
• Proven success driving customer experience, sales growth, operational excellence, and talent development.

Responsabilités

• Assist store manager and associates in delivering a favorable customer shopping experience and develop associate interest in customer service/relations.
• Lead teams in planning, implementing and executing merchandising/operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans/communications to associates on survey results.
• Identify store opportunities and create action plans to ensure plan implementation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve associate/customer issues.
