Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. seeks an Assistant Store Manager to serve as a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store. You will ensure outstanding customer service and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ year in sales, customer service or cash handling, and strong communication skills. Travel to stores within the district is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously.
• Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on product options to meet their needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager or corporate office when needed.
• Answer telephone inquiries and process customer applications or requests.
• Perform outbound calls for sales, courtesy, and collections per regulations.
• Explain solutions professionally and ensure customers feel supported.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle and count currency, manage cash drawer, deposits, and cash handling.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications to validate information.
• Process transactions including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Complete compliance trainings and timely acknowledge I Agree.
• Other duties as assigned.
