Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will be a front-line brand ambassador for Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store.

The role emphasizes outstanding customer service, regulatory compliance, and leadership in daily store operations. Responsibilities include educating customers on product options, handling cash, processing transactions, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience with sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred.
• Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in an autonomous environment.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation in compliance with policy, with valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options meeting their needs.
• Escalate issues to store manager, DDO, and corporate office if unresolved.
• Answer telephone inquiries related to general questions, applications, requests, or issues.
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and collection calls in line with regulations and procedures.
• Respond professionally and accurately, explaining solutions and ensuring the customer feels supported.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Handle and count currency, cash, coins, manage a cash drawer, deposits, and related cash handling needs.
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Perform customer verifications and process transactions per policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies; complete compliance trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
