Job summary

Total Wine & More is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Woodbury, MN to grow our brand through best-in-class service and a distinctive world of wine, beer, and spirits. You will support operations, drive sales, and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced retail environment.

As the internal Assistant Manager, you will report to the Store Manager and be responsible for recruiting, training, and coaching staff, managing payroll, inventory, and merchandising, and ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Experience managing a sales-focused team in retail.
• Experience in recruiting, training, and coaching staff.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Knowledge of alcohol compliance and relevant laws.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and developing store team.
• Support day-to-day operations including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and creating a welcoming store atmosphere.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store objectives and inventory.
• Ensure adherence to laws related to sale of alcohol and maintain a safe, compliant store.
