Total Wine & More in Woodbury, MN is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to grow the brand through best-in-class service and a distinctive beverage experience. You will support store operations, drive sales, and help build a sales-focused culture while ensuring compliance and a welcoming atmosphere for customers.

The role requires leadership experience in retail, flexibility to work evenings/weekends, and a commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 2+ years of managerial or supervisory role in a retail setting.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team, including development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving customer issues.
• Help maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
