Carter’s is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Owensboro, KY to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You’ll welcome customers, coach team members, and help prepare for seasonal sales with our product lines.

You’ll lead workforce management, maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment, and analyze store performance with KPIs while ensuring excellent service and a strong visual presentation. This role offers opportunities for development within Carter’s growing family of brands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Proven leadership and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Consistently model service standards and omnichannel experience while coaching others to success.
• Assist the Store Manager in building and retaining a successful team by participating in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team.
• Partner with Store Manager to plan and execute merchandising standards, promotional planning, markdown execution, and product placement.
