Carter’s Inc. in Woodridge, IL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be the first face of the brand for growing families.

You will supervise the sales floor, coach the team, and ensure a welcoming, inclusive environment while delivering outstanding customer service and driving KPIs. You will partner with the Store Manager on recruiting, training, and merchandising, manage schedules, analyze sales, and help grow customer loyalty through Carter’s programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong leadership and customer engagement skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our great product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coaching others to success and modeling service standards and omnichannel experience.
• Analyze the business and drive KPIs with the team to improve results.
• Build customer loyalty through company programs, including credit.
• Assist the Store Manager with recruiting, training, and developing the store team.
• Plan, track, and report tasks and financial results using company tools.
• Support merchandising standards, promotions, and product placement.
• Reduce loss through great service and operational controls.
