Job summary

Staples is seeking an Assistant Manager to drive sales, service and customer engagement in the store and guide a team to build loyalty. You will establish customer relationships, provide total solutions to meet customer needs and grow the business.

You will lead with Staples values, coach a high-performing team, and ensure a positive, inclusive store culture while meeting sales goals and maintaining store readiness for business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing a sales team in retail or services.
• Experience coaching a team in a customer-centric, solutions-based environment.
• Strong communication, organization, planning and adaptability to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-performing team focused on providing an exceptional store experience, consultative selling, driving conversions and providing total solutions to every customer.
• Attain sales and service goals, profit margin, and execution of store operations.
• Provide daily direction for merchandising opportunities and assist with delegating operational tasks with the GM.
• Share responsibility for total store operations and cost control; act as Floor Leader.
• Champion company initiatives, being adaptable to change and responsibilities.
