Staples, Inc. Assistant Managers drive sales, services and customer engagement in the store and ensure the store is ready for business. You and your team will establish customer relationships that build loyalty, provide total solutions to meet customer’s needs and grow the business.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing a sales team in a retail or services environment.
• Experience coaching a team in a customer-centric, solutions-based setting.
• Must engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Strong communication, organization and planning abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional store experiences.
• Coach and develop staff through training and role playing.
• Achieve sales, services goals and maintain healthy profit margins.
• Establish daily business cadence and readiness for opportunities.
• Direct merchandising opportunities in-store as needed.
• Assist with delegating tasks with GM partnership.
• Share responsibility for store operations and cost control.
