Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Store Manager for our South Portland, ME location. You will lead store partners, drive sales, and uphold exceptional customer service while modeling Boot Barn's mission and values.

You will supervise staffing, training, and payroll, ensure merchandising standards, and collaborate with district leadership to achieve year-over-year growth and a best-in-class shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts to meet business needs including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead store partners to foster a service and selling culture and exceed customer relationships.
• Develop training plans to achieve full competency across product categories.
• Assess localized customer needs and communicate to District Manager.
• Analyze business trends to maximize sales and meet metrics.
• Review sales goals with partners and provide coaching and feedback.
• Ensure adequate staffing and manage payroll expenses.
• Oversee merchandising presentation and adherence to visual guidelines.
• Lead loyalty programs engagement and customer incentives.
• Plan and execute events with local community outreach.
