Kroger Co. is seeking a Store Leader in Lima, OH to oversee daily store operations, train and develop the store team, and drive sales and EBITDA results. You will coach staff, uphold core values, and ensure safety and inclusion across the store.

Responsibilities include leading merchandising initiatives, budgeting, cost control, and collaboration with leadership to meet financial targets. On-site role with robust development opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Effective communication and reading skills.
• Completed the applicable Division’s Leadership Training Program.
• Strong technical and professional skills in related areas.
• 3 years of experience and satisfactory performance appraisals as an assistant store leader or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• 3+ years of experience as an assistant store leader.
• 3+ years of retail experience.
• Financial responsibility including budget preparation and management.

Responsabilités

• Lead store teams in merchandising and operation initiatives.
• Collaborate with assistant leaders, shift leads, and team members to identify opportunities and create action plans.
• Achieve or exceed weekly, period, and annual sales, revenue and profit budgets.
• Drive cost-effective sales and maximize profits while reducing shrink.
• Discuss store financial performance and plan budgets with leadership.
• Analyze competitive landscape within the district and store.
• Promote inclusive leadership and culture.
• Coordinate with division associates to execute marketing plans.
• Engage with local community organizations the store serves.
• Communicate essential information to team members to perform duties.
• Oversee staffing, retention, and reduce turnover.
• Provide timely performance feedback to staff.
• Manage labor and supply costs to meet service and financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and division policies.
• Stay updated on developments in areas of expertise and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
