Job summary

Athleta in Houston, TX is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the store team and bring our brand to life for customers. You will drive profitable sales through customer-focused operations, merchandising, and talent development, partnering with the GM to execute store strategy.

You will recruit and coach Brand Associates, model the brand’s service standards, and ensure compliance while leveraging omni-channel tools to create a frictionless shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Current or former retail employee with 1-3 years of management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Excellent communication with customers and your team.
• Passionate about retail and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Driven by metrics to deliver results.
• Able to travel as required and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and deliver results through a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and implement action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent the brand and stay informed about the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement and an omni-channel experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
