Job summary

Athleta is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations and coach a high-performing team. You will drive profitable sales growth through customer-centric service, merchandising, and operational excellence, partnering with the GM/AGM to implement the store strategy.

You’ll recruit and develop Brand Associates and Experts, own your area, optimize processes, and ensure omni-channel experiences while adhering to standards and safety.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team.
• Thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Metrics-driven to meet business goals.
• Lead, coach and mentor team members.
• Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to use retail technology and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales with a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
