Job summary

Athleta is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations and energize a high‑performing team. You will coach Brand Associates and Experts to deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience, drive profitable sales, and manage merchandising and product operations.

You will partner with the General Manager to execute the store strategy, foster teamwork, and promote community involvement while leveraging omni‑channel tools to create a frictionless customer journey.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Proficient in retail technology and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and profitability through customer-centric operations.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and execute action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent the brand and monitor retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement and omni-channel integration.
• Ensure compliance standards are met.
