Athleta is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone in-store, drive profitable sales, and coach a high-performing team. You will partner with the GM/AGM to guide Leads, Experts and Brand Associates toward a best-in-class customer experience across merchandising, operations and people development.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail management, a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and profitable results through a customer-centric approach.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and execute action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent the brand and stay aware of retail landscape and competition.
• Promote community involvement and leverage omni-channel experiences.
• Maintain compliance standards across store operations.
