Job summary

The North Face in Bozeman, MT is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team of sales associates and deliver authentic brand experiences while driving store performance.

You will supervise daily operations, coach and recruit talent, manage onboarding, training, visuals and inventory, and partner with the Store Manager to meet goals. Must have 2+ years of retail leadership and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or store leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the store team in achieving and exceeding sales goals by monitoring progress against KPIs.
• Lead and coach the team to exceed productivity goals.
• Model exceptional customer service and selling behaviors.
• Supervise daily store operations, opening/closing, floor coverage, and task delegation.
• Support Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, onboarding with high-caliber talent.
• Provide ongoing training, feedback, and development to team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
• Partner with Store Manager to manage expenses, shrink, and profitability.
• Maintain visual merchandising and product replenishment.
• Foster accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.
• Promote an inclusive environment valuing diverse backgrounds.
• Support inventory management through accurate shipping, receiving, and stockroom practices.
