The North Face in Bozeman is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a team of Brand Advocates and deliver best-in-class customer experiences that reflect our brand values. This role partners with the Store Manager to drive sales, merchandising, and operations, while fostering a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing retail environment.

You will recruit, train, and develop staff, manage store expenses, and maintain visual standards to ensure inventory is replenished per brand directives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or store leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate weight.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Brand Advocates to deliver best-in-class customer experience reflecting brand values.
• Partner with Store Manager to drive profitability by ensuring excellence in customer engagement, merchandising, operations, and community connection.
• In the Store Manager’s absence, assume full store responsibility and ensure smooth operations.
• Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of high-caliber talent; provide ongoing training and feedback.
