Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help supervise day-to-day store activities, manage schedules, and develop operational action plans that drive store performance. You will identify training opportunities to grow the team and ensure alignment with company standards.

The role requires strong customer service, team leadership, and budgeting abilities, with a focus on cash control and inventory accuracy to support company goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in retail or similar environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to supervise and develop a team
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Meets state/local requirements for handling alcohol beverages (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and implementing action plans to improve store results
• Supervise day-to-day store operations and training of team members
• Ensure store operations comply with cash controls and inventory procedures
• Mentor staff, conduct interviews, and communicate goals and performance expectations
• Maintain store cleanliness, signage, and product presentation to maximize sales
