Job summary

GPM Investments is seeking a Store Manager for Store 4688 in Battle Creek, MI. You will lead store operations, manage a team of 8-15 across shifts, and own the performance of your location with hands-on leadership and open availability for all shifts.

The role emphasizes driving sales, coaching staff, and ensuring safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction while adhering to company programs and promotions.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work any shift as needed.
• Valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of store operations, team, and performance.
• Lead and inspire a team of 8-15 employees across all shifts.
• Be the go-to person when coverage is needed; available for any shift, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Perform all duties of store employees including running the register, stocking, upselling, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining the lot and fuel pumps.
• Coach team members to deliver excellent service and upsell promotions and key items.
• Recruit, hire, and train new team members, focusing on growth and teamwork.
• Manage inventory, vendor orders, deliveries, and merchandising.
• Handle banking and cash deposits; must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance.
• Maintain high standards for safety, cleanliness, food safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Control expenses and labor hours while achieving store sales goals.
• Execute all company programs and marketing initiatives.
• Be willing to take on anything the store needs, including cross-training and stepping in to manage deli or QSR operations when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
