Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop in Woodland Hills Mall, Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Full-Time Store Manager to lead daily operations and drive a best‑in‑class guest experience. You will coach a high‑performing team, oversee scheduling, payroll, training, and performance management while ensuring brand standards and store safety.

The role requires managing payroll, forecasting, and scheduling, plus hiring and promoting staff with a focus on results and customer delight. Flexibility for retail hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a customer-centric business.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience using store technology solutions (POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance).

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and team performance by coaching and guiding staff to deliver an Exceptional Guest experience.
• Create weekly schedules and allocate daily tasks with the Assistant Workshop Manager.
• Make hiring and promotion decisions with input from the Assistant Workshop Manager.
• Lead shifts, enforce policies, and escalate issues to HR and District Manager when needed.
• Oversee merchandising layouts, inventory management, and store safety compliance.
