Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Store Manager for Towson Town Center, Towson, MD. You will lead the workshop operations, coach a team of Bear Builders, and drive sales while delivering an exceptional Guest experience.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in management, strong leadership, and the ability to work a retail schedule including holidays. Excellent customer service and adherence to brand standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a customer-centric business.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience using store technology solutions (POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance).
• Preferred: 2-4 years of store management experience.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher in business, management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and team performance by coaching staff and managing payroll, forecasting, and scheduling to achieve targets.
• Create weekly schedules and assign daily tasks; lead the team and ensure priority completion.
• Make hiring and promotion decisions with input from supervisors and HR when needed.
• Enforce company policies and brand standards, handling disciplinary actions with appropriate escalation.
• Oversee merchandising displays and store layout to maintain brand consistency and guest experience.
• Oversee inventory management including receiving, stocking, and counts.
