Job summary

Carter’s is seeking a Store Manager in the United States to lead a store team, champion a welcoming culture, and drive both sales and service excellence for families. You’ll coach and develop team members, optimize product knowledge, and partner with leadership to execute store strategies.

You’ll foster a high-energy, inclusive environment, manage performance, and ensure strong payroll and budget adherence while delivering a seamless omnichannel shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of retail or related management experience leading direct reports.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Proficient computer skills (Outlook, Excel, web navigation).

Responsibilities

• Build a talent pipeline through networking and recruiting; develop succession plans by training and developing your team.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment for employees to collaborate and recognize performance to increase employee engagement.
• Grow leaders through providing direction and development; lead and coach on customer-focused selling and loyalty programs.
• Execute merchandising and operating directions; manage payroll and budgets.
• Understand KPIs and drive results; lead omnichannel initiatives and minimize loss through strong service and controls.
