The role requires a proactive leader who can manage merchandise, support payroll and scheduling, and ensure a clean, safe shopping environment while upholding company policies. This is a part-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and functions.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor as needed and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record-keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash handling).
• Help supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment and adhere to policies.
