Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is organized from delivery to the floor.

The role requires strong communication and leadership skills, with responsibilities including payroll/scheduling support, loss prevention, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. Part-time position in Texas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform typical store tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
