Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a store leader in Sparks, NV to drive excellence across in-store operations and customer experiences.

You will support the Store Manager, lead a team, and ensure adherence to SOPs, policies, and programs while promoting a high-energy, customer-focused environment. The role requires 3+ years of retail leadership experience and the ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance and store standards.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide MOD coverage and maintain floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout usage for smooth transactions and customer support.
• Drive sales and omnichannel service through BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program and drive customer retention.
• Train, coach and develop team through structured onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink and ensure safe operations.
