Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Sales Manager in Carson City, NV to lead front-end and service operations and drive sales results. You will coach a high-performing team, manage store policies, and ensure operational excellence across POS, BOPIS, and delivery services.

This role requires a strong customer focus and the ability to work nights, weekends, and early mornings. You will oversee program execution, loyalty enrollment, and in-store events, while maintaining brand standards and asset protection.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading front-end and service operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage adherence to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate and efficient use of POS and Self-Checkout systems.
• Oversee events and programs like balloons and birthday parties in-store.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards enrollment to drive retention and visits.
• Drive protection plans and MCC/Extend services adoption.
• Oversee Knit & Sew Shop operations including the Cut Bar experience.
• Ensure BOPIS and Same Day Delivery are executed smoothly.
• Support Custom Framing operations in select locations.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing coaching.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices and reduce shrink.
