Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Las Vegas is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, overseeing front-end and service operations to ensure brand standards and operational expectations.

You will coach staff, manage POS and Self-Checkout, drive omni-channel services like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery, and promote loyalty programs, while partnering in training and asset protection.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to manage store operations and customer service.
• Strong coaching and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure adherence to policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and customer satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage, maintaining floor leadership and operational continuity.
• Ensure accurate and efficient use of POS and Self-Checkout systems, supporting smooth transactions and customer support.
• Oversee events and programs (e.g., balloons) and in-store initiatives to drive engagement.
• Promote Loyalty Rewards Program to drive retention and visits.
• Drive omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Support Custom Framing operations with customer consultations and coordination with the frame shop.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
