Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing store team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will drive omnichannel execution, partner with the Store Manager on SOPs, and coach teammates to meet sales and service KPIs.

You will oversee front-end operations, loyalty programs, and special in-store events, while ensuring compliance and asset protection. The role requires strong leadership and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end operations and customer-focused service.
• Strong coaching and performance management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance.
• Model and coach Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors to drive conversion and satisfaction.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage with floor leadership and service standards.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems for transactions and support.
• Oversee store programs (Balloons, loyalty, protection plans, Knit & Sew Shop, BOPIS, Same Day Delivery).
• Train, coach and develop team through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Support Asset Protection to reduce shrink and maintain safe operations.
