Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Locust Grove, GA. You will lead daily store operations, drive sales targets, and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining store standards.

You will be responsible for supervising staff, executing training programs, and assisting in daily administrative tasks to support a productive and engaging shopping experience. This role reports to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Manage store associates through training programs and regular follow-up when the Store Manager is not present.
• Administer progressive discipline including verbal and written warnings when the Store Manager is absent.
• Engage team to create a fun, productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on procedures.
• Encourage compliance with company policies, safeguards, and inventory control.
• Open and close the store as required and support operations.
