Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations in Augusta, GA. This role focuses on great customer service, driving sales, and developing the team to meet KPIs while upholding brand standards.

The position emphasizes leadership, operational excellence, and a hands-on approach to coaching staff, scheduling, and loss prevention in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc. when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and follow up.
• Administer progressive discipline as needed in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members to create a fun, productive environment aligned with company objectives.
• Maintain store standards, dress code, and customer service excellence.
• Schedule and staff the store, including peak periods.
• Recruit and train store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safeguard inventory and funds.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
