Job summary

Theisen’s Home-Farm-Auto is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in running a customer-focused, profitable operation. This role emphasizes service, associate morale, training, and sales growth.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree preferred in business-related fields, at least two years of retail or managerial experience, NRHA test completion within three months, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of retail or managerial experience.
• Satisfactory completion of National Retail Hardware Association test within three months of starting.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and associates to provide prompt attention throughout the store.
• Assist store manager in maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the store.
• Perform tasks such as driving forklift, load outs, changing tires, and running cash registers as needed.
• Conduct daily store walk-through to ensure standards are met and assign duties.
• Support merchandising, signage, facing, and cross merchandising efforts.
