Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, appearance, and operations. This role leads the team in servicing customers and manages the store when the manager is away.

The position emphasizes coaching, staffing, interviewing, and ensuring timely processing of orders and returns, with a focus on customer satisfaction and adherence to policy.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training and Assistant Manager Certification required.
• RSS Certification required.
• Spanish language skills highly desired.
• Certifications for parts and ASE are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the showroom floor.
• Ensure staffing at the sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist manager in hiring, interviews and candidate evaluation.
• Assist in day-to-day store operations during manager absence.
• Ensure all orders, transfers and returns are processed promptly.
