Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise is well-organized on the floor and in the stockroom.

The role emphasizes opening/closing procedures, adherence to company policies, and staff training under the Store Manager. A high school diploma is preferred, with prior store management experience in retail or grocery environments advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Store management experience in retail preferred
• Lift up to 55 lbs and perform dynamic store duties
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions
• Organize merchandise flow from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process corporate directives and store communications
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures
• Assist in ordering merchandise, damaged merchandise handling, payroll and scheduling
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom
• Protect store assets including cash
• Enforce safety and company policies
• Support Store Manager in training and developing associates
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors and trash
• Other duties as assigned
