Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities and support the Store Manager in supervising and training associates.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and store management experience in retail or grocery. You will lead a high-energy team, ensure safety and loss prevention, and uphold company policies while delivering excellent customer

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Assist in organizing merchandise and maintaining seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
