Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone, drive profitable sales, and develop a high-performing team. You will work with the General Manager to execute store strategy and coach Leaders and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

You will recruit and train staff, manage day-to-day operations, and promote community engagement while ensuring compliance and a seamless omni-channel experience.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team to achieve goals.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Motivated by metrics to drive store performance.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and deliver results with a customer-centric focus.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent Banana Republic and understand the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure compliance standards are met.
