Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone, drive profitable sales, and coach a high-performing team. You will oversee customer operations, merchandising, and personnel development to deliver a best-in-class experience for shoppers.

Collaborate with leadership to implement store strategies and lift team performance daily. You will recruit and develop Brand Associates and Experts, manage processes to maximize efficiency, and ensure SOPs and brand standards are followed

Qualifications

• 1-3 years retail management experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Metrics-driven and results-focused
• Leadership and mentoring abilities
• Flexibility with schedule including holidays/evenings/weekends
• Experience using retail technology
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Willingness to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales with a customer-centric mindset and profitability
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams
• Own an assigned area of responsibility
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity
• Perform Service Leader duties
• Ensure consistent execution of SOPs
• Represent the brand and analyze the retail landscape
• Promote community involvement and omni-channel experiences
• Ensure compliance standards are met
